If you would like to meet new people and participate in new activities, the Eastside Welcome Club is the place for you, whether you moved from “out of town”, “across town”, or have lived here for years!
The Eastside Welcome Club (EWC) is a social organization for people living in eastern Cleveland suburbs. EWC fosters a sense of community through participation in organized social events and charity fundraising.
Membership is open to anyone interested in making new friends and participating in EWC activities. Annual membership dues of $40.00 are used to support the various social and civic activities of the Club.
EWC offers two levels of involvement, Club Wide Events and Activity Groups.
Club Wide Events
Meet and Mingle Coffees are held in member’s homes to offer an informal opportunity for prospective or new members to become acquainted with club members. All EWC members are invited to attend.
Monthly Luncheons, held at a local restaurant or country club, provide a more structured opportunity for new, prospective, and current members to enjoy lunch followed by a speaker or a field trip.
Evening Socials present members and spouses with an opportunity to interact in an adult party atmosphere. Socials include a Fall and Spring Wine and Cheese event plus a holiday and spring party. The Spring Wine and Cheese event is devoted to fund raising for the Club's selected charity.
EWC offers many activities, each organized by a Group Lead who schedules activities for the current year. Please click on the Activity Groups link for a complete list and description of activities.
